If art isn't your full time profession, than what is? What other activities and/or hobbies do you enjoy?

Art has completely taken over! I also love to read, travel, spoil my dogs, cook.

We are curious as to each persons definition of "What is art". In a few words, give me your definition of what art is to you. Our definition of art is "a spirit of creativity that flows from mind to hand".

Art is ideas which wake you up in the middle of the night or come to you during a nice hot shower. Art is everything you notice and store away until one observed bit merges with other creative components and clamors to become visible.

How long have you been working as an artist? Would you be interested in helping plan events for this group?

I began showing and selling my work three years ago. Planning is always fun!

What do you hope to learn and share as a group member? What are your future goals? What is your current age?

To keep learning and getting better at art. Critiques and the company of other artists

What kind of art do you do or make? Do you need help with beginnng or finishing a project?

I work primarily in oils but have been doing some pastels and charcoals recently.

For the past three years, painting has edged past my longtime career as an interior designer.Have worked as an Art Director in two advertising agencies, variety of graphic design work, substitute art teacher.
