Mine is much worse, you see I was a spoiled brat growing up so my family decided that we would open all the presents and there would be only clothes for me. I began to cry. I expected a playstation. My sister recorded me crying for 5 mins about how I wanted a playstation. Until she went into the basement came back up and brought the playstation back and I was happy! I was a little prick.

TL;DR I was an asshole for christmas

I remember getting Nintendo Championship Bowling for Christmas and I was unbeatable! I could beat my brothers friends, which was quite an achievement.

In the spirit of the holiday season, I thought I'd ask you all to share your favorite video-game related holiday memory. Could be a memory of receiving a game or system, or giving one, or playing something with someone special. As long as a video game is involved, we'd like to hear about it. Please post on the message board. Happy Holidays.

I'll go first. I received an NES for Christmas 1990. I was one of the last kids I knew to get an NES, but that didn't stop me from being super stoked to get one and or from playing almost non-stop until I had to go back to school in January. It came with Mario/Duck Hunt, and I believe I also got Zelda from another relative. I had some game-related magazines and strategy guides to read while I wasn't playing. The one thing I had on almost everyone I knew was that I had a TV in my room, a little 13" generic color set. It proved to be pretty awesome for gaming and local TV reception. I can probably trace my love of retrogaming back to having a NES and my own TV to play on. Good times.
