After our great turnout this summer at Improv Games in the Park, we've had requests for a November Improv Night. Phoenixville's own LIFE UNCHAINED has graciously agreed to give us their space for a few hours at a very affordable cost - so it's time to improv it up again!
• Always wanted to try your hand at some of the games on Whose Line Is It Anyway and other improv shows?
• Have a sneaking suspicion that you’re extraordinarily witty?
• Trying to improve your acting skills, decrease your reaction time when put on the spot, or increase your comfort with speaking in front of a crowd?
• Looking for some new friends and a few hours of laughter?
Join us for an afternoon of improv exercises for fun!
We will do some warm-ups, some group activities, and some skit scenarios.
Nobody gets put on the spot, but be prepared to laugh at yourself.
This improv meetup is geared toward beginners - people who don't necessarily have professional acting/improv experience but who like to have a good time and who don't mind a few minutes in the spotlight. Bring that hilarious coworker or your awkward cousin and let's see what happens.
Place: Phoenixville's Life Unchained DREAM FACTORY - 214 Bridge Street, Phoenixville, PA.
Life Unchained has generously agreed to provide the space for this month's improv meetup, so we decided to give all our proceeds back to Life Unchained's charitable efforts in Phoenixville. Please see their meetup group and facebook page for more details on how you can get involved, below.
Cost: $3 per person cash. Proceeds go toward Life Unchained, a social non-profit organization based in Phoenixville, PA that helps individuals pursue and achieve their lifelong dreams.
