improv incubator: 3hrs of scenework [w. philly]

We're keeping advice and circle games to a bare minimum lately, and loving the outcome. You'll get basic instruction for each exercise, then everyone will have a go at it two or three times. As more of you come into the room, we'll move to scenes that can employ three players, to keep everyone active.

Every 30min or so you'll do a couple quick warmups, then get right back into scenes. We like to wrap up with a Bat or a jam or both.

You'll wanna wear whatever clothes are best for aggressive, jaguar-brained improvising.

Donations of a few bucks are greatly appreciated and are applied directly to room rental, air conditioning.

Hi Deneen! Thanks for joining the group and checking us out. Simply put, we would love to have you. We get together every Sunday night from 7 to 11pm... we meet in an accessible room but would not be equipped to handle getting anyone into or out of it. Some if our games are physical in nature however you could certainly find a night of fun participating in those things you choose to do. Onve yoy atte.d you can see if it is your cup of tea or not. We ask for a donation to pay for the room, and typically folks can come and go as they please (front door is locked). Hope.that covers the basics, feel free to call me at[masked] if you need some more. Again, thanks... and hope to see you there.

hi Deneen! I know Rick answered the basics but i wanted to throw in some input since I know we discussed you having difficulty getting out here to Phoenixville... I know you're local to Philly so the Incubator events would be awesome for you location-wise. There's an entrance on the ground floor and I know once when i was there, someone was on crutches and was just fine throughout the night. Nobody's doing back flips unless they feel like it :-) I definitely suggest you try it out, these guys are awesome and will help you try out improv without any pressure. The great thing about improv is that you make it up as you go, so you can adjust the scene to fit whatever you need. I think you'll be great! Let me know how it goes!!

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
