Year End Tea Gathering! Monday Dec 30th @ Le Pain Quotidien (801 Walnut St)

Friends -- About 2 years ago a wonderful Belgian bakery & pastry shop opened locations in Philly!  It is called "Le Pain Quotidien", and we will meet at their location at 801 Walnut Street, on the NW corner of 8th & Walnut Streets.  Le Pain Quotidien is more well known for their coffee & wonderful Belgian hot chocolate, but earlier this year they expanded their tea selection.  We had fun there earlier this year, lets go back!

Le Pain Quotidien has a wonderful selection of delicious pastries including: mixed berry tart, lemon tart, apple cannele, Belgian brownie (my favorite!), coconut macaroons, & more.

event: YEAR END TEA GATHERING
date & time: Monday December 30th, 5:30pm to 8:30pm
location: Le Pain Quotidien
address: 801 Walnut Street
cost: FREE to Attend, each member must pay for what they order
website: http://www.lepainquotidien.us

Le Pain Quotidien at 801 Walnut is a lovely open & airy location, large windows that face onto Walnut Street, and with a long community table in the middle of the room.  The first of our group to arrive will be seated at the community table and we will add more tables as our group expands beyond that.

More than just Tea & Pastries -- I also want to mention that there is a lot more on the menu at Le Pain Quotidien than just "Tea & Pastries".  They have delicious sandwiches, salads, quiches, & more.  Plus beyond tea, coffee, & hot chocolate they also serve beer & wine.  You are encouraged to order whatever you like, please don't limit yourself to "Tea & Pasties" because we're a "tea" group.  We're here to have fun, chat, & meet new friends in a charming & casual setting.  Can't wait!

see you soon,
David

Ok, well, they may and they may not. I accept that's not in your control. I'm sure if they intend to come they'll rsvp. It's not around the corner for me so I need that extra certainty.

hey Randy - you missed a fun time. I'd estimate we had 41 people join us & it was a lot of fun (community table was full + another 10 top + 6 more late-comers = about 41 people). Happy New Year & join us when you can.

Thanks for trying hard but I'd simply prefer to see people RSVP.
