Welcome - again - to the Philadelphia Database Professionals group.
I think that I've got a commitment for a meeting location, but it's not quite confirmed yet.
Rather than waiting until that is settled, I'm going to schedule our first meetup for next Tuesday, June 22, at the Nodding Head Brewpub. This will be a social, introductory meetup where we will discuss what we would like to get out of the group, as well as scheduling and other issues.
Look for the invitation to follow this email, and I hope to see you there!
PhillyDB members are database developers, data architects, DBAs, analysts - and application developers, too.
We meet to learn about enterprise systems (Oracle, SQLServer, DB2), open source systems (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQLite), big data management systems (Hadoop, MPP, NoSQL, NewSQL, and real-time SQL databases), and analytics tools.
Come learn with us. And if you're doing or building something interesting, come tell us about it!
