The Comcast Center
The Go programming language is all around us: Docker, Packer, Consul, etcd, InfluxDB, Doozer, to name a few are all written in Go. This month we're joining up for a joint meetup with GoLangPhilly with two talks and a chance to connect with some new folks.
Want to present a 5 minute lightning talk? Let us know!
An intro to Go, Dan Worth.
Have you been curious about Go? This talk will fill in the gaps and give you some background on the language/platform.
A few community members have stepped up and offered to give a few shorter length talks. Instead of the previously announced Docker talk we'll have these shorter talks instead.
Drone - Justin Campbell
Drone is a Continuous Integration platform built on Docker, written in Go. Run your own self-hosted Travis.CI like build system using Docker.
Packer in 10 Minutes - Brian McNamara
Packer is a tool for creating identical machine images for multiple platforms from a single source configuration. It also happens to be written in Go.
GopherCon 2014 Recap - Jon Wear
Couldn't make the conference? Find out what you missed and what's on the horizon.
Make sure you RSVP with your full first and last name. Comcast will not let you in the building without having your full name on the list.
