name Dr. Belinda M. Wilson and I am the writer and producer of the
film, Women's Playground. After more than two years, the film is
completed and ready to
be released. Very few independent films make their way into theaters no
matter how relevant they are. Distributors, agents and movie
houses are difficult to access and make the profits and leave the
producers in the red. Film festivals, other than the top five, do not
lead to distribution deals.
have decided to go directly to the movie houses that will accept
independent films. This costs money. We are listed with indeigogo, a
fund raising organization. We are trying to raise enough money to get
this film into a few theaters and then let the momentum from the film
carry it from there. We are asking you to donate
to help this happen. Please click on the address below and at least
listen to our presentation.
This film is about women in prison and the horrific
must endure to survive. It focuses on how women are
victimized by the system, the guards and by each other. Its an amazing
story. Sadly, these terrifying incidents happen everyday! Each of the
women represented in the film has a real life counterpart. It is
graphic, raw and will keep you on the
edge of your seat. It is not a
documentary. It has a
dynamic story line with a twist
at the end, no one will expect.
