Little Nonna's, an uber-charming casual Italian-American eatery.
It's too early to be listed as one of Philly's best... but I'm eager to add my opinion as to whether it will make next year's list. Little Nonna's debuted less than three weeks ago and I have four golden tickets for next Tuesday.
Very few have had the opportunity to comment on Little Nonna's but Zagat had a few thoughts...
"Set on Locust Street in the ground floor of the Independent Hotel, the petite dining room is the couple’s (Marcie Turney and Valerie Safran) seventh business and fourth restaurant in Midtown Village, joining Barbuzzo, Jamonera and (currently under renovations) Lolita. As has been the case with all of Turney and Safran’s ventures, Little Nonna’s has an identity all its own."
