Clicks to Code: All things Automation

Are you interested in expanding your skillset as a Salesforce professional?  Join us for our second meetup in the "Clicks to Code" series  on 7/23/2014 at 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.

Topic:  All things Automation!
Automation is a huge part of what makes the Salesforce.com Platform successful.  Come join the conversation about streamlining business processes through workflow and assignment rules, approval processes and more. Expand your skillset to include something you've never done before.

When Clicks are not enough. . .
We'll be taking an introductory look at Triggers, what they are and how they are helpful when workflow rules and formulas can't do the job.

Bonus: How to take a vacation from your org
We'll share some summertime best practices for staying out of the office and off your smartphone.

Topics and Future Discussions
Leave some comments below if you have any specific automation related questions or other topics you'd like to hear discussed at this meetup.  Also, be sure to stop by our Administrator Introductions thread and introduce yourself if you're new!

We hope to see you there!

Also for any members that caught Apex fever and want to start experimenting with the example code I demonstrated, here's a Salesforce Package for you to install in your Developer Orgs (Developerforce.com) or sandboxes.

    Installation URL: https://login.salesforce.com/packaging/installPackage.apexp?p0=04ti0000000H9FC

After going through the package installation wizard, click on the "View" link next to "Post Install Instructions" OR choose "PhillyForce - Automation" from the App Dropdown menu in the upper-right hand corner.

The sample Apex Classes and Visualforce pages will be installed for you to edit/modify and experiment with as you please.

This handy report would help salesforce admins to identify reports which are used by dashboards, unused reports and clean up unwanted ones. Please feel free to post your comments and click like if you like the article.
