As part of the NONVIO movement, we have a special Happiness Program. This innovative, life-skills training program empowers adults with practical wisdom and techniques to improve one's quality of life and well-being. A number of insightful knowledge points and interactive processes are presented that allow each participant to gain awareness of his/her thought and behavioral patterns. Interactive and experiential processes are presented to develop institutional problem solving strategies and social skills. This practical course also provides a comprehensive number of yogic-based techniques including yoga asanas, breathing techniques and meditation. The centerpiece is Sudarshan Kriya, a rhythmic breathing technique that puts the mind in a state of deep relaxation and restful alertness. All the techniques are consolidated at the end of the course such that the participant has a defined home practice to help center the mind and remove daily stresses. Each week, graduates of the course meet to practice the techniques, discuss practical knowledge and share experiences.
