Help Needed for the Girard Dialysis CenterSee how you can make a difference
Individuals undergoing kidney dialysis endure hours of treatment for their very survival. On their initial visit, many patients are provided with a care package containing supplies such as snacks, wipes and blankets. However, in today's economic climate, those supplies are not replaced or restocked after the initial visit. As many in our community know, kidney dialysis continues for many years or for many, a lifetime.
The Philadelphia Chapter of Links, Inc. has stepped forward to fill this need. And you can help by showing your support by donating supplies or cash. The organization will be collecting items on Saturday, April 17 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Girard Dialysis Center is a small dialysis clinic with 11 stations based at 8th Street and Girard Avenue in Philadelphia, PA. The facility is operated independently from any other parent chain. The center was certified by Medicare in 1994. The facility offers in-center hemodialysis services.
We are asking for your help, by requesting donations of these supplies from you, your friends and your co-workers. We hope that you will circulate this information among your friends and co-workers.Items Needed Sleep Eye Masks

If you can't make the collection event on Saturday, please contact Mellanie Lassiter at (215)[masked] or Stephanie Boyd at (215)[masked] to make alternative arrangements. They will be making the drop off of supplies next Thursday.
