What do you consider to be Philly's best-kept dining secret?

La Locanda del Ghiottone (BYOB).....it's at 3rd & Cherry and a great place! You have to try the mushroom crepe appetizer!

What is your favorite restaurant in the city?

It's a tie: Gayle (3rd & Bainbridge) and Vetri (13th & Spruce)......but for special occasions, it has to be the Fountain at the Four Seasons Hotel.

What cuisines have you not tried but would really like to?

I've had limited exposure to Southeast Asian cuisine and believe it or not.....I've never had sushi!

What are your favorite types of cuisines?

Continental (the classic type), Chinese and seafood top the list. But I have favorite dishes in almost every cuisine.


There's no better way to make new friends than to 'break bread' with them. Good food, good wine & good conversation with good people....that's what I'm looking for!
