At a Wild Foodies Event at the Pennsylvania Museum Art they asked me to post this fromCarole and Bill Moore
I'm planning a Leprechaun Hunt...let me know if anyone is interested. We'd assemble here, have an irish sampling (corned beef/cabage, ham cabbage, irish stew, soda bread, Irish Jelly Cake while we watch the "Darbey O Gill and the Little People", (with Sean Connery at age 18) You must see this movie to understand the myth and beliefs of the Irish. Then after the meal is over, we will put on Irish clothing (anything green or black--no orange--yep, I'm protestant too, but it shows too bright in the dark) Then we will scour the fields, look under the bushes, in the hay barn, ask the horses in the field, till we find the Leprechaun's gold....We'll end up singing Irish songs by the Player Piano and hearing a bit of Irish In America History from Direct Descendant of the Last HIgh king o Ireland Malichoi O'Moore, my husband. any takers. The cost is $20 covers all & you can BYOB your favorite libations...we have plenty of glasses. 609-871-9555 or 609-433-7979 or 7978
