Are you available for casual sailing on Sydney Harbour week days?

What is your level of fitness?

Thursday through Sunday.

Who is your favourite Philosopher? Feel free to nominate yourself but if you do, please indicate your philosophical area of interest.

I don't have any particular favourite. In formulating my own world-view, I draw on many philosophers, among them Aristotle, Epicurus, Buridan, Spinoza, Leibniz, Hume, Kant, Ayer, Ryle, Wittgenstein and Godel.

Have you read the notes "Thank you for joining Philosophical Sailing" and "Legal Disclaimer" in the Discussions section - Message Board?

Hi! I'm an enthusiast of both philosophy and sailing, and can think of nothing finer than indulging both passions simultaneously on the most beautiful harbour in the world. Recently retired, I both study and teach Philosophy of Science at Sydney Uni.
