FILM CLUB: Confucius (Mei Hu, 2010)

PFA Film Club Meetings are held every third Wednesday of the month at theTwo Chairmen, 39 Dartmouth Street, SW1H 9BP, at 7 pm. We show the film, starting promptly at 7, and then have the discussion.

Nearest tube stations are St James Park (3 mins) and Westminster (8 mins) There is no charge, as the landlady of the Two Chairman kindly allows us to have the room for free, but we would ask that you buy at least one drink. Food is no longer served after 6 pm, so if you want to bring a sandwich (not hot food) that is OK.

I had already seen the film before and loved it. It's interesting to see what others think about the ideas behind it. And yes, it brought tears to me too, although I had seen it before. Apart from the very ideas themselves, the film has some really emotionally powerful moments. Thanks!

It was a pretty good film... even a couple of tears come out from my eyes, yes I said it! :-)!

Thanks, the film was really good. Also the analysis of the confucius's ideas. If I have time I will be there next time
