A new series of evening discussions

If you would like to go from "interested in philosophy" to "learning what living philosophically is like", A new series of evening discussions starts at the end of September.

The discussions tackle the fundamental questions of philosophy and suggest each week ways to test for yourself the philosophical ideas presented.

This is always shared by various means apart from meetup so there are always a lot more than register an interest through Meetup.

To register please go to the School of Philosophy, Cambridge website at;

http://www.cbphilosophy.org/nextcourse.htm

We have to hire space so it is £50 for 10 evenings.

More details later.

    That sounds great Rachel, I have enough pressure at work, so the sound of an enjoyable relaxed meeting is just what I looking for.

    The new course will be non academic, in other words there's no need to write anything if you don't want to.
    It's purely about listening, joining in & trying new ways of thinking & being.
    It will be fun & relaxed. We usually have a break & will finish no later than 9.30pm.
    Looking forward to seeing you there. R

    Hi Michael, just wondered where this sits in respect of the Tuesday classes. Is there a difference or will this be the same type of subject? Thanks

    • Michael R.

      Hi Justine, the Tuesday classes will continue to look in greater depth at living philosophically. The Monday discussions will be what the Tuesday discussions were last year. Hope you're enjoying the summer. Michael

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
