Mentored Drupal Video Training at ASU on March 10th

From: Russell K.
Sent on: Tuesday, February 28, 2012 1:42 PM

Since a number of people have expressed interest in the upcoming video training, I figured I'd better email everybody the skinny, now that we've got it mostly worked out. More details and signup can be found at

Come and Learn Drupal at Your Own Pace, Mentored by Local Drupal Experts. Unlike traditional workshops, instead of spending the full day in lectures, each student will work at their own pace through a set of comprehensive, focused training videos covering one or more of three broad areas of Drupal skill sets: Site BuildingModule Development and Theming. Experienced mentors will be available to help students answer questions on a one-on-one basis, work through sticky spots, or demonstrate additional examples to help clarify difficult concepts.

The general cost of admission is $25 per person, but current students with a valid ID pay only $10. You need your own laptop with a working, vanilla Drupal installation, and a pair of headphones. The rest of the details are on the event page.

The mentors for this event are Russell Keppner from Ashday Interactive, Gary Fenn of Reliable Internet Solutions, and Kathy Marks and John Nguyen with Arizona State University. The low cost for this training day is made possible thanks to the sponsorship of these organizations: ASU, Reliable Internet Solutions, and Ashday Interactive.
