If you're interested in writing scripts and moving your script to the next level then this is the group to join. We are a dedicated group of writers who are actively writing and making our dreams a reality. Come check us out.
I would consider myself a weekend writer - trying to get to the professional level.
I have written 2 scripts in the last year.
I like feature film writing over Television or documentary writing. Though I love watching a well made documentary.
I can devote 2+ meetings a month (being the organizer I kinda have to).
I started it.
This group is starting to become a close group as I see many of the same members taking advantage of the opportunities offered. This will only benefit those members as time goes by.
I just joined the group and am looking forward to my first meeting. My second book of short stories (contemporary fiction) was just published and some of them would make great short films or made for TV movies. My mission is to meet people who would like to collaborate on turning them into screenplays. Any advice you or the members might have would be greatly appreciated. Hope to see/meet you soon.
got yoru e-mail and looking forward to meeting people in the group. i am thinking very much about the mini pitchfest. i might actually have something that might be ready enough by then but i have to work out scheduling issues. i've signed up for the table read this evening but can't find if anyone else is attending and as i am in nw phx would like to know if it is still on before i make the drive downtown. i wouldn't be bringing pages but i'd like to get a feel for the group. thanks...lynn
Carlo, my husband and I would love to attend a class with writers of the Family Man!! Count 2 for us please.
Does the group ever golf on Sundays?
Hello Carlo, I rejoined as Toby Fesler because of email problems. I'd like to pay for 2 tickets to the Feb 16 event. Could you tell me how to do that? Thanks,
Thanks for accepting me into the group. This seems like just the thing that I have been looking to get into in my spare time. I look forward to meeting you and the group too. Maybe this is just the thing I need to get me going on the writing that I have be putting off. Anyway, thanks again and Happy New Year.
Be sure to let everyone know that the Tucson Festival of Books is March 3-4, 2013. Last year we had over 100,000 people and probably over 100 guest authors speak over the course of three days. It covers both fiction and non-fiction. Great event!
Thanks so much, Carlo! Scott has been telling me such great things about you and the group, I had to sign up. I'm looking forward to meeting you soon!
It was so great to see you at the meet-up last night. I think you are great and always benefit from the hard work you do on behalf of the group. Thanks so much!
