Ongoing Sex & Heart Series with Laurie Handlers

Tantra is an ancient form of yoga and is unlike most forms of yoga today in that it is based on feminine qualities and Kriya or active yoga as distinct from postural yoga. It activates, clears and balances the first, second and third chakras (energy centers) that relate to safety, creativity and power!

Tantra encompasses over 6000 year old Indian, Tibetan and Egyptian techniques that teach us what our bodies are capable of. In this series every week you will learn several techniques designed to empower your body. Using breath, movement, sound and focus, you will learn to relax, energize, center and develop a real sense of well-being. You benefit by having some fun, learning something new and transforming your life with little effort – opening to more pleasure!

Well be exploring awareness, breath, energy, movement and opening to the body’s wisdom.

Plus we’ll be exploring our learned polarities:

• Will vs. Allowing
• Spirituality vs. Sexuality
• Duality vs. Oneness

We'll bringing this all into alignment. Through Tantra, there is no duality; we embrace it all!

What you can expect: Each week, we’ll work with 1) energy, 2) breath, 3) awareness of self, 4) connection to others. This series offers something for everyone, seasoned Tantrikas as well as beginners. There is no explicit sexuality, no nudity and you do not need to attend with a partner. You do need to wear comfortable clothing, be prepared to sit on the floor and bring bottled water.
