The Phoenix Christian Singles 40 Plus Group is 100% FREE. We meet together regularly for fun and fellowship.  There is no cost to join this group.  Even though this is a 40+ singles group, if you are a single Christian and in your 30's, but you would like to attend some of our gatherings, you are welcome to join this group.  

There will be "meetup" events where we can get together "just for fun"... to play some games, enjoy outdoor activities, dancing, dining out, potlucks, picnics, Bible studies, or ?  In addition, we will have meetings to discuss some of the challenges of dating and marriage.  As a member, you are encouraged to post your ideas for meetup gatherings. 

We all have different interests, so I would suggest you post a meetup gathering which appeals to you, and at a location which works for you.  Once you are a member, you can post a gathering for this group by clicking on the "schedule a meetup" link at the top of the lists of "upcoming meetups."  There are plenty of Things to do in Phoenix.  Pick something you enjoy and suggest it as a Meetup gathering or event for this singles group.  To view the calendar of events for the Phoenix Christian Singles 40 Plus Group, click on the link to the left and scroll down the page.

You can post a meetup gathering for the same day and time as another meetup event for this group.  Since this group is large and people have different interets, go ahead and suggest a meetup gathering which appeals to you (even if meetup gathering overlap on the calendar of events it's OK).

Being single and Christian has its own set of challenges, even in a big city like Phoenix. This group will provide a way to make new Christian friends in a safe environment.  In addition, the group will provide a place for healing and fresh starts for those who have gone through divorce or the death of their mate.  If you are recently divorced you, might want to check out www.divorcecare.org for a Christian support group in the Phoenix area.  For those of you who are widowed you might want to check out the Christian group called http://www.griefshare.org/.

This meetup group will also be a place to share information which might bless some of the group's members. If you have other resources to share, or ideas for gatherings, please post them on the discussion board, meetup board, or you can email your suggestions to us. You are invited to post any events happening at Christian churches in the Phoenix area on the discussion board.  The events do NOT have to be exclusively for singles, but the event must be Christian (and not a business posting) or it will be deleted.
