Yes. If I'm so wonderful, why am I single? Not by my choice, but 39 faithful years unequally yoked to a guy with reactive attachment disorder. No wonder he couldn't "feel Jesus." The baggage I carry as I walk into the "Behold, I make all things new" is a carry-on of what the Spirit has taught me about the relentless love God has for me and all of us and seeing others hearts behind their words. I am looking for Christian friendships, and yes, honestly up front because I don't play bait-and-switch games, for hopeful marriage to a Godly, honest, loving, respecting, faithful, God-honoring Spirit-filled believer with a purpose for his life, passion in his purpose, and desire for an "ezer kenegdo" respecting, and willing-to-grow partner to come alongside him in his purpose. For now, friendships and learning to appreciate who God has made you.
I love hiking and camping, picnics, mild spelunking like the lava tube west of Flagstaff, star gazing, canoeing, anything at the beach, going to movies and attending live theater and concerts, meeting new people and connecting with friends, riding elephants, zoo-botanial garden-arboretum-museum lover. The Grand Canyon is my favorite Arizona place; Disneyland is a much-loved family tradition. In the past I have quilted and scrapbooked. I enjoy creating programs and writing songs for family programs at The Phoenix Zoo. I really love writing and helped Dr. Walt Kallestad write 5 books, wrote 2 leaders' guides for Donna Partow, and have 3 stories in Chicken Soup books. You can get the inside insight on my blog www.rospiration.blogspot.com, though I don't post regularly now that I'm working so many hours at the Zoo. I love traveling to Thailand to do child care for the SIL East Asia Group conference every two years, and I'd love to do more short-term mission trips.
In live in northeast Mesa and I can do some traveling to gatherings.
My schedule at the Zoo varies, but I usually have Friday and Saturday nights available, and most full Sundays, depending on program needs at the Zoo. If I know in advance, I can ask for Saturday of if we aren't heavily booked on programs.
