Lost B**bs Hash #122

On every Monday, we meet at a random bar to begin a 3 mile trek (called a Hash) around a neighborhood.

Here's how it works:

15 minutes after arriving at the bar, visiting friends and meeting everyone, 2 people (the hares) set off to mark out a trail using chalk and flour (biodegradable). This trail is usually around 3 miles and takes about an hour to complete. After 10 minutes, the rest of the group (the hounds) gives chase, trying to follow the marks and catch up with the hares.

If this sounds familiar, it's because it is basically the Hares and Hounds game you played when you were 10, only ours is a decidedly more grown up version, involving drinking and adult silliness.

We have a beer/water stop halfway through the Hash, and we are always done by 9:30.

You should be fine. While there are fast runners, the pack usually starts and stops frequently enough to keeps even the slowest relatively close. Welcome to the hash and hope you have a great time!!!
