Salt River Weekday Carcamping and kayaking, Tues – Thurs, Dec 20-22
I am looking forward to my quiet time car camping, biking, and kayaking on the Salt River during the day and seeing the wildlife. Weather forecast is for sunny days. I need to use my 3 Tonto passes before the end of the year. For those of you who would like to escape the holiday rat race, please join me for weekday camping at Coon Bluff and or Pebble Beach. Directions will be given to those who RSVP.
Camping costs are only the $6 Tonto Pass/day available at the Walgreens at the N.W. Cover of Thomas and Power Road, just off the 202 fwy. I will try to get the Coon Bluff campsite on the bluff that overlooks the river.
You can join me to eat at Golden Corral at Power Road and McKellips and eat AYCE steak dinner for lunch prices by paying just before 4 pm. A senior can eat their marvelous dinner buffet for $7 including drink. Ummm, GC is one of my favorite places to eat, as some of you know.....
I do not have a cell phone. If you want to come out for the day to join me for kayaking, email Julia at [masked]. I will have my laptop with me and have Broadband.
