Tonight, 18 people RSVPed "Yes" but six didn't show. That's a third.
I appreciate all of you who changed your RSVP - even at the last minute - if you weren't going to be able to make it. Truly, I do.
But for those of you that didn't, restaurant management could have been quite upset at having extra personal on staff to handle the size of our group I had given them as well as the fact that others could have gone in your place. Think of it as a normal dinner reservation or a job interview. How would you act?
For this reason I'm changing the following paragraph from three strikes to two:
"The ugly: Two strikes and you are out. Because most sushi places are small, these events are going to be limited in size. If you have registered for 2 events as a "yes" and don't show, you will be booted from the group. Talk to us. Life gets in the way. Let us know what's going on. Bribes, first born, blood won't help as others would like to go."
Konnichi wa! Would you like to meet other local sushi lovers? Everyone is welcome, from a beginner who is just getting into sushi to the experienced person who will try anything and everything. Come join us as we enjoy good conversation, make new friends, savor sake, sashimi & sushi, and above all, have a good time!
