June Walk - Wolfscote Dale & Tissington Trail

Basics: About 10 miles long but with only 200 metres of ascent over the entire distance - so this should feel relatively gentle compared to some of the recent walks.

Alsop-en-le-Dale Station Car Park is on theA515 between Buxton and Ashbourne - the map link on the event page points directly at the car park.

Thanks everyone for making it great day out.
I stopped at a garage on the way home and was walking like a chicken until I loosened up a bit!

Sorry had to call off at last moment. After a very bad night I would never had made the ten miles. Hope it went well.

Me and Julie are going to have to cancel again - back is bad so think 10 miles will be a bit too much :-(( Hopefully the next one :-/

Lunchtime thunderstorms expected not ideal! Think I'll have to see what it's like tomorrow..shame should be a good day

Actual satellite forecast shows v little rain in area (BBC weather, plus only predicting a bit of light rain), they've predicted thunderstorms for most days this week and they've not happened, of course saying this now means I'll get soaked tomorrow

Hi all - there seems to be a large number of people up for this currently (18). Weather looks pretty good at the moment too.

Possibly the lack of ascent is what folks are finding attractive? Should be good if everybody can make it.

Sorry. I'm not going to be able to make this one.

No we're generally a bunch of amblers rather than marchers, unless theirs a whiff of bacon or the sight of sheep, then the pace may up for a few minutes

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
