    A well taken exposure that was tricky - as hard light was falling at this moment - my suggestion here is composition - rather than having your subject bang in the center - our brains relate more strongly to having the subject in one of the thirds - left or right - unless the subject is symmetrical. We are just wired that way - i would crop the left side of this pic by about 30% to move the subject to the left - so your eye is led to the eye of the deer - it will create more impact.
