Still, Canon has done stranger things. I actually sold my 5D Mark III because it was not operating the way I wanted it, and I can just as easily throw my wide angle onto my 7D and it out performs the mark III..... Other than that I am still using my rebel t2i as my back up body with a nicer lens on it. I'm waiting to see what the specs will be (the official ones, not the leaked ones) on the 7d mark II, either way I think I'm sold on it, especially if it performs as well as my current 7d does. I wanted the 5D Mark III SO badly and when I got it, I played with it, takes amazing portraits, and does amazing group shots and wide shots, but is too slow. I was having MAJOR issues with it this weekend at PIR, and resorted to using my 7D as my main and my rebel as my backup, THANK goodness I had the good sense to throw the rebel into my gear bag, JUST in case. Great little small light weight work horse. I will never get ride of my rebel.

I'm so excited! 8 days! yeah! How many are just as excited as I am! I can't hardly wait. I'm Anxiously and not very patiently trying to wait to go! What classes did everyone sign up for? Nick are you starting to compile a list of emails/phone numbers and meet up plans for our "off times"???? This is my first big, major photography conference, and I'm super stoked! Everything paid for, my bags are nearly packed, and I'm ready to be out the door!!!!! Who is flying? Driving? Where is everyone staying? I opted to fly, since I found a ticket cheaper than it would be to drive, and my husband was not thrilled with the idea of me driving alone through the desert for 6 hours. Plus I ALWAYS drive when we go on vacations, so I opted to treat myself to a nice short flight. Hopefully this wont be a nightmare! I have no flown probably in a decade. I think I was 18, maybe 19 the last time I was on an airplane. I'm super nervous about it.

Sorry Scott, I actually registered just now, I got a discounted pass because I am a student at PC and I also have NPPA/ASMP credentials. I was only charged $25 for an all access pass. Thank you anyways. I appreciate it.

Hey I'm looking to split the bill. I will be there Saturday (Afternoon) until Thursday (afternoon). I'm flying because of the unbeatable deal I found on a round trip plane ticket. Any one want to split the hotel room? I want to be there Sunday for sure for the Canon event.

I'm looking on Expedia.com and looking to book the room. The room is looking to be about $400 for the entire stay, it's within a short walking distance to the MGM grand. Anyone want to split costs with me? It's a room with two beds in it. Let me know ASAP, because tomorrow would be a prime time to book, since prices often go up Fri-Sun. The further out we book the better the deals are.

The $400 includes my air fare. I'm not driving. When it would cost more to drive than fly with the plane ticket I found. It was something like $360 for all 7 nights and 8 days plus a round trip air fare.

Okay I am registered for WPPI and I am staying at the Luxor from Monday the 11th until Thursday the 14th, I have an extra spot if any one wants to split hotel with me it would be $150 for the entire 4 days. I plan driving to Vegas so if someone wants to carpool hit me up.
