Getting the most from Camera Raw

Canon of Light photographer Lewis Kemper will be here in Austin in April. His lecture will be on Getting the most from Camera Raw.

If you are not familiar with Lewis' work, (www.lewiskemper.com) take a moment, enjoy his work and read his biography. I am very excited to be hosting this with the Meetup, Austin Smug, T & K Arts, Precision Camera and a host of other sponsors as well as Canon.

You don't have to own a Canon to enjoy this lecture. Bring pad and pencil and lots of questions! All levels of photographers are welcome. The best part is it is FREE!

The following link is where you have to register for the lecture. This helps us keep track in one spot of everyone who wishes to attend. For those who already registered under eventbrite...I really really apologize. You will have to re-register. It's my first big lecture, I'm in a learning curve-bubble-thingy....

I just unregistered so there is an opening. So sorry -- looks like I'll be at the office until at least 7:00 or 7:30 -- didn't want to walk in, in the middle. Thanks Tracey for getting this organized!

Do we need to print the ticket? Or will it be ok if I've got it on my phone in an email?

I noticed that there are seventy some people signed up for this event. I signed up through fisheyeconnect. If you don't have a ticket from fisheye, I am told you won't get in. I went to the meeting there when they had the lady in February that did nature photography. That is a small room. According to the people there, Lewis Kemper is a "big wig" in photography and is actually sponsored by Canon. Also, I suggest you bring something to light your paper with, that room was real dark and if you want to take notes, it was tough to tell where you were putting your pencil.

You are correct. Right now the venue is full. However, we will be e-mailing all the participants, if there are any to drop out, be sure to continue to check on Fish-eye for vacancies

Don't forget, if you do not sign-up through the fisheye event, you will not be admitted into the lecture. This included guests....

Ok, I have this straightened out. I apologize for the confusion, but I am learning to share responsibilities and I failed at it. The following link is where you have to register for the lecture. This helps us keep track in one spot of everyone who wishes to attend. For those who already registered under eventbrite...I really really apologize. You will have to re-register. It's my first big lecture, I'm in a learning curve-bubble-thingy....

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
