Just a quick question what remote stobe triggers were they using? Were they pocket wizards? Thanks

    May 1, 2013

    • Stephen

      Yes they were pocket wizards.

    • Randy L.

Thank You, I was thinking of buying the triggers for my outfit, and it seemed that pocket wizards are the most commonly used brand.

A question on the shutter release cables, Are there some better than others out there? I know Ed mentioned that it really doesn't matter. But, Ed are there ones you prefer over others?

This event was fabulous. I cannot thank Jerome, Ed, Stephen, Susan and the rest of the staff enough. My gratitude for allowing me to help out and participate in this event is overflowing. The performers were absolutely fascinating to watch. I felt like I was watching superheroes climb the wall in some instances while photographing the acrobats. They were a great addition to this event. The lensbaby team was awesome as usual. Gary Potts presentation on infrared was great too and so were all the models, including the one and only Jerome Hamilton. Inger was super cool and I love how he teaches. If I could only use one word to describe the value of this workshop it would be "Under Rated." Seriously, these guys work very hard to make this happen and they basically do it for free. Yes, they charge a fee, but it isn't enough. They do not make a profit. In fact, I'm sure that they pay more out of pocket money than they charge the photographers to attend. Where else are you treated so well?

This was a fantastic day! I greatly appreciate the effort, patience, organization, and immense content packed into the event. Thank you to Stephen, Ed, Jerome, all the lecturers, models, and sponsors from Canon and Lensbaby. What an invaluable experience!

I uploaded 20 of the best pictures I took. These are pretty much how they came out of the camera. I adjusted the black level a bit in a couple and the white balance on a few. I did that in Lightroom. None of these images saw Photoshop at all. Tomorrow I'll touch up a few in Photoshop. I'll post those too. If you have any questions just ask. Please share your too.
