Golden Hour Portraits at South Bank

When: Wednesday, 16th July, 2014, 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM.

Where: Queen Elizabeth Hall, South Bank.

Price: free.

*** Meetup Description:

It is most often landscape photographers who take advantage of the golden light before sunset, but it is also fantastic light in which to shoot portraits.

We will split into small groups and use each other as subjects, making creative use of the environment - usually there's a good mix of new and experienced photographers, so it should be a good learning environment. I'll also be on hand if needed to give tips on posing subjects and making the most of the light.

How to find us:

o  meet at the entrance to the Queen Elizabeth Hall which is next to the Royal Festival Hall

o  Waterloo or Embankment tube

    Hi Trevor
    Thanks for organising this
It sounds really interesting and I'd like to come. I have use of a "real" old Lumix, although I have a fab and equally complex camera on my new HTC phone
I have v little understanding of them both though!

I love taking photos but am not experienced, although I've been told I have a good eye for composition.
    Hope it's ok to come

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
