  • Your camera and lenses
  • Tripod
  • Cable Release
  • Additional drinks and snacks of your choice

*Please note that there are no food services available. There will not be the opportunity to purchase snacks. We will however have bottled water.

Fantastic! I will repeat the experience again. Ed, as always, was absolutely great in providing instructions to everyone (at all levels) and ensuring we all got good pictures. Many thanks to Stephen too, and Linda... always helping.

This is my first time meetup with the group. Is there someone phone number that I may contact, just in case I lose..?

    May 17, 2013

    • Stephen

As long as your husband isn't shooting he doesn't have to pay. As for a phone number you can call Ed. He is leading this trip. His number is (702)[masked]

Which hotel you guys planing to stay? I might be able to make it. Oh, and if my husband will be there with me, but he won't be doing photography, does he have to pay?

I plan on staying at the Motel 6. It's one of the nicest hotels in town.

Would this workshop be good for a beginner night and star photographer?

    April 15, 2013

    • Stephen

Yes this is the perfect opportunity for a beginner. All you need is a tripod, cable release, and to know how to use your camera in manual mode. Even if you don't know how to do that we will help you.

It's up to you, but I am booking a room. I did last year as well and it was a lot better than driving back to town that night.

This will be a FABULOUS evening! Should we book a hotel in Beatty for that night? I don't mind being out most of the night but would rather not sleep in the desert...my idea of camping is when the Ritz Carlton forgets to put mints on the pillows...

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
