What we’re about
We are a group working to improve our photography skills.
We started this Meetup Group to communicate information about our photographic activities, which include our Meet-up's, Photography Classes, Photography Workshops and Photo Trips.
Getting out in the field to work on your photo skills with a group of like minded people will help you to grow as a photographer.
We encourage members to submit pictures to art shows and competition like the county fairs. We critique images so you have time to improve them before they are entered, increasing your chance of a ribbon or award.
We also want to use this forum as an effective way to provide our members information on new things in photography. Members and guests present at the monthly club meeting the last Tuesday of the month.
I plan Photo Trips to some great places to get you out in the field working on your photo skills. These trips can be from three days to a week or more. Some camp and some stay in hotels. If you want to have a great time and improve your photo skills join one of our trips.
Come join our monthly Photo Club Zoom meeting and give us a try.

See all- 2024 Spring Wildflower Photo TripNeeds location$98.00
With the rain we have had to date along with what is to come, there should be some good wildflowers to photograph this year.
I changed the campground from San Simeon to Morro Bay SP because several roads that we were to use are closed.
Trip plan.
•Valley of the Oaks is among the best places to see wildflowers.
•Many Californians don't even know about this protected area that is little changed since the Spanish colonial days.
•The land has never been cultivated, making it an excellent place for spring wildflowers.
•Another landmark is the historic Mission San Antonio.
•Because it's so unknown and quite remote, there are hardly any visitors even during the peak of the spring bloom, which usually occurs from March to April.
Then we will go to Morro Bay to the Rt. 1 coast and down to El Capitan State Park just above Santa Barbara.
We will be at each location for 2 days.Make your reservations at:
•March 30 & 31 Valley of the Oaks. Lake San Antonio Resort 888-588-2267
I have Campsite 620 in the South shore
•April 1 & 2 Morro Bay SP campground •(805) 772-6101
