I am currently separated after 18 years of marriage and my divorce will be finalized in the next 2-3 months. I asked for the divorce and it went very fast using mediation. Hi John - Looks like a great group of people here! I'm newly separated and it seems imminent that it will end in divorce. I basically have no friends in the area (1 to be exact and she travels all the time) because all of my friends were his friends / friends wives. I have a great job and want to stay in the area (I moved here for him...), but I really need to get out and meet some new people. Going through all of this alone really stinks :(

Hey John. I hope you check out the group when you can. It's multigenerational and family oriented (including dogs). Maybe we can plan a joint activity with the 2 groups at some point.
