I agree! Love the idea of learning practical aspects of purchasing equipment, versus only the latest and greatest. Also very much enjoyed the presentation on macro photography itself. Thank you Robert!

Excellent presentation on Macro by Robert O'Toole today. He imparted a lot of knowledge in the time spent and was kind enough to bring equipment for all to see and touch. I really enjoyed the outstanding Sandhill Crane photos that were shown preceding the class.

I had to work overtime friday, so I won't be making it in to the class. Just don't have enough energy to get up that early after 16 hours in the busy ER. Hopefully the class will be repeated ???

    • Don H

Shazzer, sorry you cannot make it. We will have repeat this topic again. I am hoping next time Robert talks will be about his trips to Alaska photographing brown bears and bald eagles, something I hope to join him on soon.

Hello All, I have just joined this group and new to meet up as well. Looking forward to learn more about photography.

Do I need to bring my camera for upcoming event (September 13) ? How long is the event? Do I need to bring anything else to this event? Thank you, Rajan

    September 1

    • Don H

Most classes run about 2 hours but can verify depending on the guest speaker. You will not need your camera for this class but can bring it just in case you see something on campus you would like to photograph.
