CPM Walk-in Camera and Photo Clinic

I am not sure yet if and when I will attend this. It is an all day event and I expect some of us will want to attend during the day.

The Center for Photography at Madison (CPM) and The Camera Company are offering a walk-in camera and photography clinic during PhotoMidwest 2012. The clinic, which is free and open to the public, will be held on Saturday, October 27, from 10 AM - 4 PM in the lobby of the Madison Museum of Contemporary Art, 227 State Street, Madison.

Questions about cameras, composition, lighting, editing software, post-production techniques, and film and digital processing will be answered by a panel of local photography experts.

All photographers, from beginners who are just learning how to use their camera to professionals in the field who may be investigating a new approach to their art are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity.

Both The Camera Company and CPM offer introductory photography classes. CPM also has more advanced classes, which are open to non-members as well as members.

I waited at Barriques until just after 10:00 then went to the MMoCA. I had both of the reps from the Camera Company to myself, no one else stopped in while I was there.

This is too far ahead for me to set a specific time to meet. If any of you would like to set a specific time let us know.

How about the ealier the better to make sure number 1 that we get in in case of a line and number to get in and out before the crowds start taking hold on state street for the Freakfest (I will have a picture taking barrage from this as well).
