Sony a6000. I absolutely love the mirrorless format.
I had been shooting professionally (portraits and weddings) for about 10 years, but last year found myself in a bit of a creative and inspirational rut. I have worked in the studio with strobes, and on location with both natural light and speedlights (I am a huge fan of Strobist-style off-camera lighting). Lately, I have been turning my lens toward concerts, landscapes, and action (drag races and roller derby!) I am adept with Photoshop and Lightroom, having done many hours of editing and retouching. But photography became a JOB, so I am working on getting back to basics... I want to be shooting more for myself, my overall happiness is directly correlated to how much I am photographing. I'm just having a hard time coming up with the ideas. I love being around other photographers... the creative energy and feedback is fantastic. I'm hoping to not only absorb some of that creativity, but also to contribute to it.
Getting back to photography for the love of it, rather than just a JOB. Flickr: _Sharkey_ Instagram: q_shark_q
