It may be hunting season but we're photographers here. So what will you be taking pictures of this weekend? Check out this thread in the discussion board for some location ideas and feel free to add your own.
If you're looking for inspiration or an outing, there are two meetups to choose from. Tomorrow afternoon you can join us as we prowl the architectural landmarks of University Research Park. Then on Sunday we'll practice our portrait photography skills on each other. You'll get photos you can use for holiday cards and gifts and return the favor for your fellow members. Bring your family too! It will be cold but I promise free hand warmers to the first 8 members at the meetup! And then you can use the portrait tips & tricks you learn over the holidays too.
Don't miss our December monthly meeting on Thursday Dec 5th at the Sequoya branch library where we will talk about the high dynamic range or HDR technique (What Is HDR and When Should I Use It in My Photos, via Lifehacker). As always, we look forward to seeing your photos from the challenge from the November meeting to work with color in interesting ways. Keep an eye on our Flickr group to see what other members are up to--and add your own!
