    Thanks for the comment and Link, Alfredo This is one of the 21 images I took for an HDR. I found HDR's more reliable than using GND filter because of many reasons -some are already in the article you pointed out. My intention was to get the backlit sunflowers on a high contrast image. The star effect of the sun was not intentional. But I think it adds to the composition.
