Great color and brightness here! Was this one shot tone mapped or bracketed?

Most all the pictures I took were bracketed to compensate for the low light. Then, I passed them through HDR. This one is a pano. The problem with HDR, as I am finding out, is that it is so easy to go too far and destroy the mood. A friend commented to me about how bright some were (on this one, I went over a little. On the others I went over a lot). I went back and reduced the brightness, this time I like the photos more. Good to have feed back!!! I will be more cautions with HDR in the future.

Yeah, I tried HDR on several of mine (I was shooting 3 brackets), but I had a hard time tweaking the settings to anything close to realistic. Seems like all the photoshop pre-sets are for mega-over-the-top HDR!

I have found this to be the best for HDR, if you don't over do it that is, http://www.oloneo.com/ They have a sale that ends tomorrow. It is a good investment.

If you want to get more involved with HDR you should look at this: http://www.promotesystems.com/products/Promote-Control.html Here is the explanation: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TstWu67pKj0 and some field use (not the best) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uAhIPTKzR74
