Historic Fort Lauderdale Beach at Sunrise

Join us as we visit Fort Lauderdale's premier beach, and photograph the beautiful light at sunrise. Delray Beach Center for the Arts photographic instructors will be on hand to offer pointers on maximizing your images and capturing early morning light. Stay to have breakfast on the beach, visit the Marina, or shoot from under the bridge at Las Olas. There are beautiful old Florida houses, some Art Deco style, one block west of the beach. Also consider The Swimming Hall of Fame, one block south of the meeting point on Seabreeze Boulevard. If you wish, venture north to Sunrise Blvd. and visit The Bonnet House, which is open from 10-4.

We will meet at the corner of A1A and Las Olas Boulevard, at the Elbo Room at 6:00 a.m. Parking is available at the lot on Seabreeze and Las Olas, across from the meeting point.

Elisa, ND filters .9 or 1.2 come in handy. As for lenses, make sure at least bring a wide angle (24mm will do) and a telephoto.

I'm looking forward to this experience. Photography is an intricate part of my art. My art is about capturing detailed realism and my camera helps me to do this.

I'm so disappointed ... we've had to move the dates of our vacation back by one day, so I will have to miss this opportunity. I'll look forward to future outings.
