Welcome, you're here, yay!!
This group is for amateur photographers who want to
a) meet other amateur photographers,
b) create a chance to practice their shoot flow whilst
c) exploring Berlin
Any type of camera you have is fine - you can work in film, digital, smart phone, they're all welcome! Most people come with their digital SLR cameras.
These outings are free except for venue entry fees where applicable, and coffee & cake (or beers, as the case may be) which we often do after the outing is over.
We load our photos to The Photo Hive. Please read the group rules there and ask questions if you're not sure how to load your photos.
About me: I am Beth Jennings, a professional photographer that teaches amateur photographers how to capture their life in beautiful photographs.I lead two amateur photography groups with almost 3000 members globally, I'm a graduate with a BA (Commercial Art Photography) from RMIT, I'm an award winning member of the Australian Institute of Professional Photography and I've exhibited internationally.
I absolutely love photography and I believe that when you buy a dSLR camera you need to give your learning one year to create a great foundation to your photography experience across Camera, Creativity and Computer.
How you can do this:
1. Download a copy of the dSLR Manual Camera Guide
2. Spark your creaitivity in photo themes that interest you in Your Camera, Your World, my online Creative Camera Course
3. Organise, develop and create beautiful things with your photos by checking out my book Memories at your Fingertips - organise your digital photos like a pro.
I want to see you get the most out of your dSLR camera so you never miss the moments that matter to you!!
PS this is not a photo-nerdy-tech-head-which-camera-do-you-use-yawn type of group - it's about having great experiences and keeping the best bits alive in photographs forever.
PPS All ages welcome.
