Due to the poor weather forecast for this weekend.. I am changing this meetup for next weekend. Right now, Sunday, September 29 looks better, so I am going to take the chance and re-schedule for Sunday, September 29. I apologize if this date doesn't work for everyone... but Mother Nature is in charge here! And I am sure no one wants to take pictures in the pouring rain nor take a chance with their valuable equipment. Please re-RSVP for this event!
Minter Gardens is closing on October 14, 2013. So time is running out to check out these lovely gardens. Set against a magnificent mountain backdrop, they have 32 acres that are a floral tapestry of colour, sound and fragrance. With Fall arriving... we should be able to enjoy some beautiful Autumn colours
If we have at least 15 people, we will get the group rate of $13.00. Note that in order to get the group rate, one person has to pay in full, so I will collect the money at the ticket booth and pay as a group, otherwise it's $17.00 per person. I don't want you (or us as a group) to miss out on the group rate, therefore it's important to be on time in order to take advantage of the group rate. Unfortunately, if less than 15 people arrive on the day, we will be required to pay the $17.00 each rate, so please be prepared to pay the higher rate, just in case.
We will meet just outside the gardens at the ticket booth at 10:00 am. Look for the people with bags and cameras!
I would encourage carpooling as much as possible. If you ride as a passenger, please remember to help the driver with gas. As people sign up, please post in the comments section if you need a ride or can offer a ride and where you are coming from/can meet people.
For those interested, we can go for lunch at a nearby restaurant, called the Wild Cat Grill - this is across the street from Minter Gardens. Again, if you are carpooling (either as a driver or passenger), please let your group know what your intentions are for lunch.
Minter Gardens is in Chilliwack. Click here for the map via Google Minter Gardens
I look forward to this in person Meetup. After the event, you can post your pictures in the Designated Album.
I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
