I work for a UK registered charity called Basti Ram (no: 1137644). We work with linked organisations in India to provide educational programmes to underprivileged rural communities. www.bastiram.org & www.facebook.com/bastiram

I applaud every charity that provides schemes for self help or life improvements to impoverished people of this world. Hovever I can not see the purpose of your course teaching "orphans" in India how to use a camera, when they are not even able to afford a pair of shoes let alone a several thousand £ camera. Even if you where to gift them a DSLR, they rather exchange it for food and clothing & general education. Education on birth control may do more good.
I have seen that you are interested in photography.
We have launched a group called London Photographic Workshops for which I am sending you this invitation.
We are very active and we run workshops monthly like Portrait, Fashion, Nude and many more.
The workshops are getting well known for the photographic techniques and for their very relaxed and social atmosphere.
You are very welcome to join us.
Thank you for the welcome, Rachel.
November's quite close, but what I'd like to know about this trip is: how long? how much? where in India? and what are the qualifying requirements, personally and for travel to India?.
If you can advise me on these points, I'd be much obliged.
