It now selects now 14 photography artists for next PARIS PHOTO exhibition.
This year, for the first time, it will be held at the Grand Palais, during 9 – 13 November 2011.
The “OUT OF THE WALL” project allows 14 emerging photographers to pass through the WALL and go beyond it.
Each photographer is like a unique brick of this WALL.

PARIS PHOTO 2011
To celebrate the 15th edition of Paris Photo, Paris Photo is moving to the Grand Palais, the finest setting that Paris can offer to photography, from 9th to 13th November 2011.
This prestigious location will without a doubt, add to Paris Photo’s unique international position and make it an even greater fixture of Paris’ vibrant artistic and cultural scene.
Taking the fair into this new era, Julien Frydman has been appointed Director of Paris Photo. He was head of a renowned photography agency Magnum Photos in Paris since 2006. The 2011 edition will mark the 15th anniversary of Paris Photo. Artists and their work, dealers and publishers, will enjoy an exceptional environment to show photography in all its diversity.
This year’s edition will turn the spotlight on African photography, from Bamako to Cape Town.
• The « Grand Palais »
Inaugurated for the Universal Exhibition of 1900, the Grand Palace spans over 72 000 m². It is classified as an historic monument in its ensemble and easily recognizable from afar by its unique glass roof, the largest in Europe.
The building is composed in the center of the Nave, which will present Paris Photo 2011.

• The Nave
Dominated by the famous glass roof of the Grand Palais and since its opening in 1900, the Nave has received many artistic events of any kind: fairs, exhibitions of inevitable painters of the twentieth, and, since 2005, famous exhibitions and fairs such as the Biennial Antiques, Monumenta, the exhibition-sale of the Yves Saint Laurent / Pierre Bergé in 2009, many fashion shows and the FIAC since 2006.
Paris Photo is now taking place in an ideal location to be able to thrive and grow.
