  • Nov 23, 2013 · 10:00 AM
  • Ian Murray Photography

Learn the key photoshop basics you need as a photographer.  With Photoshop and Lightroom now available on subscription from Adobe for just less than $10 per month it makes sense to learn the powerful tools of  the best post-processing software available .

In this intensove session Ian will introduce you to the skills, tools and techniques that will allow you to successfully post-process your images.

Taking a step by step approach you will be introduced to the power of  brushes, actions and layers. You will learn how to quickly use essential blending modes like:

Screen

Multiply

Overlay

Darken

Lighten

Luminosity

Each of which can be used to enhance and improve your images.

You will learn the value of Photoshop Actions and learn to make and save your own.

You will learn how an image can be sharpened by blurring it.

Ian has used photoshop on a daily basis for over 12 years and is an expert in enhancing photographs.

This class assumes that you have little or no knowledge of Photoshop and is suitable for those who wish to make the jump to the full version of Photoshop from Elements and/or Lightroom.

The class is limited to just 8 participants and the cost is $60.

The session will run from 10am until 4pm with a break for lunch.
