Looking for something a little difference, well here is a a two part workshop/event on Environmental Portraits which ends with a unique visit to a local brewery where we will spend a whole morning photographing the staff as they work.
Making great portraits of people in their workplace or as it is beeter known, 'environmental portraiture' , is a popular subject that has been around since the dawn of photography. To do it well takes particular skill and here is your unique chance to experience creating such portraits at first hand.
We begin on Monday evening at 7pm with a two hour introduction covering such topics as:
Two days later at approximately 7am on Wednesday morning we head to the Mayflower Brewery in Plymouth where we will be granted the privilege to be present during the brewing process while creating a series of environmental portraits.
This is a great 'microbrewery' with excellent beer. It is extremely generous of them toi afford us the opportuinity to prectice our skills while they work around us. Becuase of the size of the brewery space is strictly limited to just five participants. The cost is $100 per person and you must be over 21 years of age with a valid ID to participate.
