Sunday looks like being exceptional weather for our workshoip and exploration of the Southern Coast of Maine in and around York and Ogunquit.  Car pooling is available from the Weymouth/Quincy area and there are a handful of places left if you wish to join us.

Join the group as we head out to the stunning but easily accessible coast of Southern Maine.
Sunday Oct 23  All day.

We will meet at the Stolen Menu Cafe in York Maine at 10am. or leave the Weymouth area at 8am if car-pooling.

We will spend a full day photographing in and around York and Ogunquit - we will do some cliff walking (easy) and make detours to such interesting places as the wiggly bridge in York and end at Nubble light just as the sun begins to go down.
We will stop for lunch in Perkins Cove where you can send some time exploring the quaint shops and the drawbridge which crosses the harbor.

There will be lots of instructional advice from Ian and some optional exercises. As usual we will keep the group size down to eight so you will get plenty of care and attention.
York Maine is just 90 minutes drive from Boston and it has some very interesting and photogenic places to explore including a Harbor Walk in York Village that is sure to provide plenty of subject matter.
Nubble light is a must for photography but you must be there just before the sun goes down in order to get the best shots.
Perkins Cove is a collection of old fishing shacks that have been converted into small stores and cafes around the old fishing harbor. Here we can pick up the easy cliff walk known as Marginal Way. There are numerous benches on which to relax and rest your legs.
If we have time we may stop by the Stonecrop Photography gallery to view the latest exhibit.

Cost is just $45 per person and includes a full day of instruction from Ian. We will meet at 10am in York Maine or 8am in the Weymouth/ Boston area if you are car pooling and we expect to return around 8pm.
