Introduction to Studio lighting - this Saturday.
Light is the most essential element of photography – without light there can be no photograph.
Even the best subject will look bad in the wrong light.
Studio lighting can help you control the direction and quality of the light, and learning to do this effectively is the key to getting good images. Whether you are lighting a person or a product, understanding how light works and then correctly applying that knowledge is the key to good images.
In this full day workshop, hot lights, speed-lights and studio strobes will all be covered in detail. In a very hands-on workshop, beginning with simple one light set-ups and working up to more complex multi-light sets that produce creative and impressive portraits, you will be given a thorough introduction to lighting.
The workshop will run from 10am until 6pm with a one hour break for lunch.
Lighting and wireless triggers will be provided. The cost is a very reasonable $90 and places are limited. Just bring your camera. Suitable for all levels, including beginners.
