This Week at Photography Workshops
It's been another remarkable week for Photography Workshops: we completed three meetups in four days and a passed the one hundred mark on our membership list!
Boston was our chosen location for each of last week's meetups and it proved to be a great choice. The Night Shoot was challenged by cold wind, drizzle and fog but the intrepid band of members stuck it out rose to the challenger, and produced some stunning photographs. Check them out in our photo album section. http://www.meetup.com/Photoworks/photos/879856/
The weekend gave us much better weather and a chance to really capture the feel of Spring-time in Boston. The members once again showed what a fun bunch they can be and the camaraderie they exhibited was magnificent. Despite being challenged with tough photographic assignments which had them lying on the ground, climbing on benches and turning the dials on their cameras to obscure settings, they also produced some great images. You can see them in our photo album section

Last minute night-shoot
Despite the weather last week's night-shoot workshop in Boston was a blast. On Thursday of this week (15th) I will be back in Boston shooting once again at night but this time it won't be a workshop it will just be a walk-about for members. There is no fee for those who wish to join me. Just RSVP on the site.
Depth of Field Workshop
On April 24th I will be running a master class on Depth of field. Learn how control this often hit and miss aspect of your photography. Once again this will be an experiential outdoor workshop with plenty of hand-on opportunity to try out your new found skills. This is a morning workshop beginning at 10am and ending at 1pm.
Absolute Beginners Workshop - Plymouth
On Sunday April 25th at 3pm- 6pm join the group for a change of scenery and a chance for beginners to pick up a few skills and techniques in this historic setting. A gentle and leisurely walk around Plymouth Harbor and City.
